Holts Emergency Repair Hose Weld Bandage
Instructions for use:
For splits in one piece hoses:
1. Clean damaged area around hose with emery paper provided.
2. Dry area as much as possible with a cloth.
3. Peel off protective strip from the back of the rubber bandage.
4. Wind bandage firmly around split
hose making generous overlaps.
5. Fasten non-slip straps around each end of the bandage making sure that the serrated edge faces inwards towards bandage.
Pull as tight as possible. When split is on a bend place the straps immediately over each end of the split.
For splits at the weld of T pieces:
Follow the above, ensuring the bandage completely covers the joint and is firmly wrapped around the hose. Fasten straps as tightly as possible around the joint as in diagram.
