EU Regulation 842/2006 Deposit Refund

The primary objective of this regulation is to reduce emissions of the fluorinated greenhouse gases covered by the kyoto protocol and thus protect the enviroment and reduce global warming.
All consumers of containers designed to maintain vehicle air conditioning systems will be required to pay a £10.00 consumer recycling deposit at the time of retail purchase and return all used containers for recycling and refilling where purchased, with proof of purchase, for a full £10.00 container deposit refund.
On purchase a refundable deposit (AIRCONREFUND) will be added to your basket. Once the refrigerant has been used return the empty container to us and your £10 deposit will be refunded with the same method used to purchase the item(s).
